Self-love also gives us the strength to love and support others, and impacting the world with positivity and warmth begins first with channeling good energy into your own heart. Treating yourself is truly a therapeutic, soul-nourishing practice and there are plenty of places and resources throughout New York City to ground yourself in a nourishing self-care regimen. Sometimes spending time with others can take up a lot of energy as it means you may have to compromise. When you spend time alone doing whatever you want, you can learn to listen to your own needs and value them more.

Forgiving ourselves from a place of love and not of war, makes us more resilient and encourages us to try again, only this time with more positivity.

Right now, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, those comparisons are amplified. Few of us are accomplishing what we had planned to these days. And with all this free time, we are spending a lot more of it online. As you navigate life, it’s important to remember to stop and celebrate along the way.
You have heard the judgments that come up based on the challenges that have unfolded over the past six months. But you have showed up for yourself again and again. You have sat with non-judgment and applied the medicine of an unconditionally loving presence.

Surround yourself with people who truly love you, support you, and respect you. If you don’t have those people around you, find them. Be 150 percent committed to your journey to self-love. Make self-love a major priority in your life and treat it as such. Don’t let anything get in the way of you and your relationship with self. Self-love is a powerful force that will positively affect every single aspect of your life.

However, if you really listen to him/her and interact with him/her by asking him/her follow-up questions and responding to his/her words, he/she will feel that you value what he/she has to say. Allow the positivity from the affirmations to fill you completely. Repeat the affirmations without thinking of anyone in particular.
